12 Lead Electrocardiogram (ECG)

A 12-lead ECG involves the placement of monitoring electrodes on the chest and limbs which trace the electrical activity of your heart.

This test provides our cardiologists with information your heart rate and rhythm.

ON THE DAY

Please wear a two piece outfit, as you may be required to remove clothing from the waist up. You will be given a gown to wear during the test. Please refrain from using lotion or talcum powder on your chest on the day of your appointment.

LOCATION

This test is performed at the Brisbane Cardiology Office.
